Mark and I are working on an Indiana route for Sunday. It's a version of our Harrison IN to Cedar Grove IN ride, with a different return route. We may alter it before I post the ride on the Ride Line on Thursday.

The climb up Route 1 out of Cedar Grove isn't as steep as it shows on the map. The road has been cut into the hill, but the elevation data is old, so it shows it going up a very steep climb. We think the climb is actually 6% for a mile, a hard climb but doable for many of our Sunday riders. It's comparable to Muchmore Road in Indian Hill.

Still, the first 20 miles are either steady climbing on "mostly" shallow grades, or fast downhills. There's not much flat ground.

Then the return on Barber Rd and Pinhook Rd is great, following the Whitewater River valley on quiet country roads.
