Sunday, May 15 ride plans

We are planning to ride from New Richmond to the Frish's in Bethel for lunch. So the ride starts at 10:30AM this week.

Mark and I are still working out the details, so we haven't decided if we'll take the 35 or 40 mile route, or have two speed groups. And it may be raining on Sunday. So check back on the ride page later in the week. I'll post to the Ride Line on Friday morning.

Last week, I took the faster group up Schaboberle Road. I must have gone down the final climb heading in the opposite direction when I was there last year. It's funny, an 18% grade doesn't seem quite so steep when going down it. We'll be more careful to preview and avoid roads like this next time! Everybody made it up the three climbs, though.

The first little dip and climb is 18% too, but only 50 feet high.
