Process for Appealing Faculty Proposals for Professional Learning/Development Activities

Colegas,

Looking to see if anyone has a formal appeals process for appealing rejection of a individualized professional learning/development plan. My institution's bargaining agreement extends the right for faculty to appeal a rejection of their individual professional learning/development plan. However, there is no process in place for that and wanted to check with the field if anyone had something already in place.

Juan, I would love to hear any responses you receive. I'm new to this group so not sure if we all see all responses or not, suspect we do but asking just in case. 

We could use such a process - we've had some rather nasty rejections that we feel squashed our academic freedom and faculty rights.
