Part-time Local Academic Senate President

Hello colleagues,

I hope all is well.  I have a question about local senate president's employment status.  I am a part-time instructor and I am currently serving as our local senate president at Gavilan College.  I am wondering if there are any other local senate presidents who are part-time as well and if so, what challenges or opportunities have you experienced?
