Significant Lapse of Time: Recency and Repeatability

Dear Senate Presidents:

 

Our district recently established a task force assigned with defining "significant lapse of time" with regard to our board policy on recency and repeability.  However, we are still looking for any examples of how other districts define "significant lapse of time." 

 

If you have defined "significant lapse of time" in your district, can you share this definition or, if you have chosen not to define it, can you share your reasoning?  As always, your responses are extremely helpful and appreciated.
