Hi everyone,

I'm thrilled to announce and share with you all The Rebus Foundation's strategic plan, which will guide our work for the next few years. It's important to us that we stay transparent about what we're doing and why. If you can, please take a few minutes to read the plan and I welcome your feedback/comments/questions. Feel free to share this with others in your networks too.

The ideas, futures, values you see in the plan are the product of several discussions starting back in 2022. It is not the product of one idea, but rather a true amalgamation of many voices. I'm grateful to my team, the Board of Directors, Marigold Strategy, and several of you in this community for participating in this process. Thanks also to other organizations/institutions for sharing your plans transparently so Rebus could be deliberate about how our work fits in with yours. I hope you all see this reflected in the goals we've outlined.

I'm also sharing a recording of a session with the Rebus Board of Directors last week at the Open Education Conference, where we unpacked what leadership, success, and work means for us. I hope this will help you all better understand the philosophy of how Rebus works, as well as let you meet some of the people whose perspectives informed this plan.

Thanks also to Jonathan Amador Lopez Espinoza for his design work.

I imagine the details of the plan may shift naturally as our collective needs change, and I'm committed to updating you all as and when that happens. Thank you for the privilege of letting us work alongside you all!

Best,
Apurva
