Departing Creative Commons for New Adventures

After almost 15 years at Creative Commons,
it's time to expand my horizons and look for new adventures. It has been an
absolute honor to work with multiple CC teams, our global partners, and the
open education community to identify complex problems where education is a
critical part of the solution, and then opening that knowledge to help solve
the problem. Together we’ve saved students billions of dollars, empowered
faculty and learners through open pedagogies, and expanded access to education
around the world.
As my tenure at CC comes to an
end, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the many ways you’ve
all contributed to our important work. I will continue to be inspired by your
work to grow and sustain the thriving commons of shared knowledge and culture.
