Hi all, this message is cross-posted.

Has anyone developed a policy about whether to allow AI tools to attend webinars that you run? I'm curious about how others are balancing accessibility uses vs concerns about privacy and accuracy.

Thanks in advance, and I'll share back a roundup of replies.

Hi all,

Thanks for the helpful responses! The consensus is that AI tools are not welcome in webinars because of concerns about privacy, accuracy, and security.

The following sentence will now appear on our webinar event pages: "Open Oregon Educational Resources does not permit attendees to use AI note-taking or recording tools in webinars." I've also added this info to our Presenting with Open Oregon Educational Resources One-Sheet.

Thank you!
Amy
