Textbook/Course Material Worksheet

Hello,

I'm currently helping a faculty member review her courses to see if there is an OER or other affordable solutions that would fit her needs better than her current textbook.

I am looking for a worksheet that is partiall for me and partially for presentation to the faculty. In particular, it would go through the course, thecurrent textbook, any institution/state requirements on the textbook, and then the available solutions (OER, library, etc). I know someone posted something similar within the last few months, but I can't find it again.

Any help is appreciated.

I use a modified version of the OER Content Sharing Template that Abbey Elder & Shannon Smith created. Both are adaptable and may be helpful. Here are the reviews I've completed on my campus using my form. I'm eager to see other examples too!

I posted a similar request a few months back, and got lots of helpful responses, though nothing matched exactly what I was looking for.  Based on the feedback I got, though, I pulled together something of my own.  I've attached it here, feel free to use as-is or revise as you see fit.  I think it probably doesn't do everything you're looking for, but hopefully it's useful as a starting place.

Hi Katie,

While I also may not have exactly what you're looking for, I can share the documents I use in my local OER finding service OCoMMS at the University of Calgary, which are accessible through our service's libguide. I have a more complex report for the OER support team and a simpler report I provide to faculty. I've also on occasion duplicated the OCoMMS results list table for broader OER and library resource search requests.

It's from a Canadian university lens so some of the repositories listed are Canadian-specific, but it's openly licensed so you're welcome to use and adapt!
