Welding OER? WELD 110, 120, 220, 260?

Does anyone have OER for welding? Our welding instructor is looking for resources he can use to replace his textbooks which is over $150. Any suggestions?

Hi Joseph,

Your question sparked my curiosity... so I dug around some.

Here is a book that says it is CC-BY 3.0 https://www.intechopen.com/books/welding-processes

*Note: I hadn't heard of In Tech until today, anyone else know their work?

I’m excited to announce that the Open Education Group is accepting applications for 2017-2018 OER Research Fellowships to do research on the impact of open educational resources and open pedagogy. The fellowships provide travel for conferences (Open Education) as well as small stipends for research.

This research is centered on the COUP framework (Cost of learning materials, student success Outcomes, patterns of Usage of OER, and Perceptions of OER). Applications are now open for graduate students and early career researchers in the United States and Canada, and are due May 12.
