Good morning, CCCOER village!

We are supporting a faculty colleague who is using Inequality and Interdependence: Social Problems and Social Justice (2025, CC BY) for their Social Problems course but is looking to expand coverage of crime and racial and gender inequality.

These topics are woven throughout the text rather than presented as standalone chapters, so they don't explore them in enough depth to fully meet the SLOs for Ventura College.

If anyone has resource recommendations or is developing OER that supports these topics, we would love to hear from you.

With gratitude,
Ame

Hi Ame,

I'm so glad you're interested in this book! You might also be interested in looking at Race, Crime and Injustice for some of the supplemental material you asked about.

If you end up creating related content, I hope you'll share it in the OERCommons group: Inequality and Interdependence OER Commons Group.

FYI,
Amy
