Hi Shanna,
There is a large collection of sign language OER on the OER listserv conversations page that can be found here:

This will not help with finding pure OER, but I always thought one of the best use examples of a media not typical thought of as OER was the Sign With Robert series on Giphy.  The repetition of action seems ideal for practicing.

Of course these are not shared under any license, and the status of animated gifs if I read right is that they are be default copyrighted.  I guess they could be used as an external link/reference.

Or maybe there is an opportunity for perhaps some open pedagogy project where students could create original animated gifs of signing, and share them under a specific license.

Dear Shanna:

We have a fingerspelling text on our LibreVerse corpus (along with the text that Amy mention):

https://human.libretexts.org/Bookshelves/Languages/American_Sign_Language

I also think the OERI team in California has a current ASL project in production; Michelle Pilati would be the person to ask (who is on this listserv).

Regards,

Delmar

We don't - we funded it, but it did not happen. Hopefully next time.
😎
