OEWeek 2026: Share Your Events in the Town Square

Hello Open Colleagues,

Open Education Week 2026 is taking a Town Square approach and the community calendar is open for sharing your events 🎉.

Open Education Global invites you to add any Open Education Events happening in February, March, or April to the shared OEWeek calendar. While OEWeek officially runs March 2–6, 2026, the focus this year is on meeting communities where they are and highlighting the work already happening around the world.

Think of OEWeek as an open, public gathering space for sharing:

• Workshops, webinars, and panels
• Campus or consortial events
• Resource launches, discussions, or celebrations of open practice

Events are all locally organized. OEGlobal simply helps amplify them by collecting them in one place.

You can:

• Add your event directly to the calendar now
• Browse the Event Ideas Handbook if you’re still planning
• Use the new OEWeek 2026 visuals and templates (CC BY licensed) to promote your work
