As we witness horrible acts of war wage out in Ukraine, there is something we
can do as open educators. Margreta Tveisme from the Norwegian NDLA posted a request in OEG Connect for
OER in Ukrainian to help Ukrainian children and youth refugees
My organisation, National Digital Learning Area, really wants to help, and besides offering our own open resources up for translation, I wanted to use this wonderful network to ask everyone for help in collecting available OER in Ukrainian that can help Ukrainian refugees in all countries in the time to come. You can post resources here as links, or maybe OEGlobal would like to set up some other way of collecting what’s out there? I don’t know, the most important is to find the resources, and offer them to educational authorities in all countries that will receive refugees.
Even if you do not know of specific OER, maybe suggestions for supporting refugee learners or idea how to help? Groups that might help with translation? Even spreading the call of this is good, especially during Open Education Week. You can
reply there, or share here and we will cross post.
