You may have already received the official email about the OEGlobal Board
election, but I wanted to send this out because it's an important opportunity to help shape the future of our community (with OEGlobal and beyond).
If your institution or organization is an OEGlobal member (that includes the regional nodes like CCCOER and OELATAM):
- Only one person votes per institution.
- Find out who is a contact or rep from your institution. If you're not sure, it can be a great way to connect with colleagues! (If you have questions about this, email: members...@oeglobal.org)
- Take a few minutes to read the candidate profiles. Consider the experiences, perspectives, and ideas that will help move OEGlobal forward in this challenging time for Open Education.
- Vote before July 27.
Several of this year's candidates are members of, or longtime friends of, the CCCOER community. I've listed them below in alphabetical order to help you recognize familiar names as you review the full slate of candidates. Also, we are always "open" to making new friends 😊.
- Başak Büyükçelen (Başak Büyükçelen, Canada)
- Karen Cangialosi (Karen Cangialosi, USA)
- Paola Corti (Politecnico di Milano, Italy)
- Delmar Larsen (LibreTexts, USA)
- Remya Mohanraj (Houston City College, USA)
- Beck Pitt (GO-GN, UK)
