Dear open education colleagues,
I am excited to invite you all to join the Report Out and Next Steps Webinar by the Open Education Association Development Project. The webinar will take place on July 28 at 2:00 PM ET / 11:00 AM PT (register here) and the recording will be posted shortly after. I have shared the description below. Thank you for your participation!
Report Out and Next Steps Webinar Description
Join us for an update from the Open Education Association Development Project (OpenEd.org), a national initiative working to strengthen the open education field through collaboration and strategic coordination.
During this webinar, the Steering Committee will share what we’ve learned from our national needs assessment survey, completed by over 1,000 people across all 50 states, along with insights from conversations with more than 20 organizations. We will also provide an overview of the field through our field mapping efforts. Most importantly, we’ll present our emerging plan for what comes next: the key areas our programming will focus on to address shared needs, fill critical gaps, and support greater collective impact.
You’ll also hear how community members can get involved in this next phase and help shape the project’s direction. Whether you’ve been part of this work or are just tuning in, we welcome you to attend and contribute your voice and unique perspective to this work.
