Hello,

We are looking for a process model to transition of a course from textbook to an OER course; such as a document that explains the steps involved.

We would really appreciate it, if you could share any information regarding this.

Thanks,

Dear Thomas,

I have two favorite "openly licensed” OER workflow models developed by some of our “open education” community members that I love to share.  One from Northwestern Michigan Community College and another one from University of Hawaii Manao.  Please see attachments.

Hope that helps,
Una

Rebecca Goodchild & Antonio López from Sacramento City College have a process they call an OER on-ramp

which they have bundled into a Canvas course

which has a bunch of short videos and I've attached a few PPT slide that I use to describe the process and you are free to remix, alter, etc.
