I wonder if you can diffuse to all CCCM members this message because there is an urgent need to identify at risks settlements before the heavy rains come.
 
"The American Red Cross is planning to work in the most congested and populated 20-25 IDP settlements that are prone to floods, landslides and mudslides.
In prevision to the heavy rains and the hurricane season, the ARC intends to conduct disaster risk assessement in these settlements, prepare the IDPs to face potential disasters, inform them on disaster risks and life-saving key messages, and undertake some small-scale mitigation works.
 
The ARC requests any appropriate information fitting into this plan:
. List and identification of settlements at great risks;
. Maps of flood and landslide prone areas;
. Governemental requirements and requests in this sector;
. Resources or contacts that may help identifying these at risk settlements/zones.
 
These information are urgent and necessary as heavy rains have already started and the risks face by the IDPs increase constantly. So we'll be gratefull if you can help us in this process."
