Just a quick reminder that we will be having a brushwork day at Montana de Oro tomorrow, Saturday Sept 29. We will meet at the State Park's Quonset behind the Spooners Ranch House by 9 a.m. and disperse from there. Jeff from Bike Church Shuttle has graciously offered his shuttle service to get our group back to the base of East Boundary Trail and Islay Creek Road. From there, we will hike up to the top to attack the overgrowth where it's worst and then work our way back down with the intention of being back a little sooner than usual to allow for a departure from the park by about 12:45, possibly a bit earlier due to later commitments.

If your tired of the face slappers on the EB downhill, come out and help us get it fixed so we can have clear sailing through the area through winter. There will be poison oak mixed in some areas but I will have a supply of cleaning agents on site. Dress appropriately and you'll really minimize your potential contact.

BRING:
Water
Snack
Gloves
Eye Protection

WEAR:
Sturdy closed toe shoes. Boots are best.
Long Pants
Long Sleeves

EAT:
Come fueled!
There will be some sodas/water at the truck when done but we won't have much if any linger time due to departure.
