Dear colleagues,

Please find attached the latest Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Report with data collected in IDP sites between January 15 and February 1.

The report, appendices and raw data are all accessible on the CCCM/NFI cluster website http://www.un.org.ph/response/clusters/cccm/index.php

At yesterday’s presentation of the DTM analysis report, the cluster members requested a set of recommendations be prepared based on the information detailed in the report and feedback to these recommendations be provided back to the CCCM/NFI cluster from the other clusters.

Recommendations prepared by the CCCM/NFI cluster are detailed below:

  1. CCCM/NFI cluster should further investigate and facilitate the establishment of camp committees in sites where none were recorded

  1. Shelter and CCCM/NFI clusters should advocate for the provision of more shelter support to IDPs living in IDP sites with makeshift shelter and degraded tented accommodation.

  1. CCCM/NFI cluster should further investigate and advocate for IDP sites that have not received any NFI kits

  1. WASH cluster should further investigate and report on sites recorded as falling short on international standards related to water points, latrines and drinking water

  1. All clusters should encourage that more information on relocation sites and closure of ECs be communicated to the IDPs

  1. Protection concerns raised in the DTM analysis report be followed up through the protection cluster

  1. Health cluster to further investigate reports of distribution of milk formula products in IDP sites

  1. Food cluster to follow up on sites that reported no food distribution

I look forward to responses in relation to these concerns before Friday 12 February.

Best regards

Phil
