Dear colleagues

At the last CCCM/NFI cluster meeting held on Jan 14, there was significant discussion with DSWD on the definition of IDP sites and how tent cities, bunk houses and private compounds should be reported. Discrepancies have been identified in reports for IDP figures from DSWD DROMIC, Regional DSWD and the Displacement Tracking matrix (DTM) for Region III in particular. As a result, DSWD and IOM will be leading a joint assessment of the sites in Botolan, Zambales and Arayat on Friday Jan 22 to gather DTM data and reconcile the information.

Any agencies interested in participating in this joint mission should contact David Bercasio from IOM. dber...@iom.int  on 09088654546

Best regards

Phil
