Hi, Friends,

I have begun updating the Crowdsourced FAQ to reflect the currently available details. The FAQ is open for editing, so jump in and help if you'd like. I plan to close editing tomorrow to work on structure and accessibility.

I have also created a one-stop space for updates and technical details: https://www.cccc-l.org/ 

After all, who wants to remember all those Google Doc links? I am actively working on the site, so content may move. I have a backup of the resolutions and positions that I will add to the site in the next few days. 

I will add the discussion of various response strategies later tonight or tomorrow (like Elizabeth Wardle's regionals). Today my focus was on getting the website live so people can access the info easily.

Yes, adding my thanks to Traci!  I was just thinking about the need to collect all of these important efforts in one place and you've done that for us all. Thank you, thank you! 

I haven't had the chance to read through the site yet, but has the whole Cs website been backed up (i.e. awards pages and descriptions and lists of recipients), the Cs Wiki Initiative, things like that? I'm on the National Archive of Composition and Rhetoric Board and before I joined this list, I downloaded all of the Cs Awards pages up to the travel awards (ran out of time to finish) and have them in the NACR GoogleDrive for now. I'll try to finish the travel awards, if no one has saved those yet, and to help however I can.

Kate, I ran HTTrack on the CCCC website on Thursday afternoon, which should have saved all the pages and subpages with working internal links. I haven't had a chance to doublecheck, but a preliminary set of clicks suggests that it did what it was supposed to. If there's somewhere I can send/upload a tarball, I'd be happy to do so.

Ben, that's amazing news (and what foresight to do that!!)  I don't know whether the NACR website at the Univ. of NH has the space/capacity for such an upload yet, but we are hoping to meet with the archivist this week and I'll ask.

I know that we have the digital versions of CCC accounted for, but is there any interest in preserving the print versions? I was hoping to compile as many as we can for our Schultz Room at the University of Cincinnati. If anyone has back issues they don’t care to hold on to, send me a personal email!
