The 2024 and the 2025 CCCC Executive Secretary-Treasurer Reports are both on the CCCC-L website now, under the Reports label: https://www.cccc-l.org/reports/. I have not located a report for 2026 nor any recent reports prior to 2024. There are NCTE Annual Reports that include reports on CCCC work, but not a Treasurer's Report. I'll keep looking, but I'm not feeling optimistic. If you happen to find other Secretary-Tresurer Reports that are public, send me a link please so I can add them to the archive.

I've begun adding other reports from the site as well, and I've cleaned up a few odds and ends. More to come later.

Take care, my friends!

The 2026 report is attached, Traci. I located it in the spring and luckily saved it. But like you, I can't find it online anymore.

Thanks for your great work!

Jennifer

So my question is: what happens to the CCCC reserve money and contingency fund now? It would not seem appropriate, to me, for NCTE to keep it (or at least not all of it), but maybe I'm missing some essential info to the contrary?

And while an organization's self-reported financials is one key piece to look at, here's ProPublica's overview of NCTE's 2025 financials too (not sure about its accuracy but it's a third-party overview, for comparison purposes). If you scroll down, the overview gets less detailed but the record goes all the way back to 2002.

Kate et al.

This is my question too. However, I’m sure there is a contract somewhere that states CCCCs money is NCTEs money

propublica grabs information from the nonprofit's tax forms, and those can be searched in any number of places, propublica included (bottom of the page you linked), but also guidestar and other services that look at nonprofits.  I have no doubt that these figures are accurate.

Kate, Thanks for the ProPublica numbers.  They hardly indicate an organization on the financial brink. In fact the moderate recents losses have been more than offset by something (I am guessing market increase of assets).
And as far as ownership documents, Brian, we don't know until we see them. Further there may be additional ownership constraints around gifts and endowments, which will have their own documents.

A little update:
I fixed the broken 2024 treasurer's report link, and I've added the 2026 link. https://cccc-l.org/reports
