Hello All,
Microsoft is releasing critical updates this week, so IS will be performing emergency server maintenance This Friday, October 16th after 6:30pm. This downtime will make all services unavailable for most of Friday evening/night. Please help us make this a quick and painless maintenance window by doing the following:
Log Off Thursday night if you’re not scheduled to be here Friday.
Log Off Friday Evening when you leave.
Do not log back in until Saturday. This includes remote access. IS cannot guarantee the safety of your data and we won’t be able to retrieve it should you get disconnected or otherwise lose something you were working on. If you do manage to login Friday night, we might log you off, either by accident or purposely to preserve system stability. There may or may not be warning to getting logged off and warnings, if any, will be very short. We need the network completely free of use so that we can apply updates cleanly and perform other system maintenance without the servers processing outside requests.
