Dear Tennis Enthusiast,

 

Has your improvement as a tennis player ground to a halt? Are you losing to players/teams you know you should be beating? Have you been wondering HOW to get better? If the answer to any of these questions is YES, I’d highly recommend you sign up for my Tennis Camp at Old North State Club on October 9 (6:00-9:00pm) and October 10 (9:00am-12:00pm).

                I’ll be co-teaching this camp with one of my friends and long time colleagues, Dr. David Staniford (Director of Tennis @ Savannah Lakes CC, Savannah Lakes, SC). Dr. Staniford is one of the country’s most respected tennis clinicians. He was raised in Melbourne, Australia, was taught by legendary tennis coach Harry Hopman, and has served as an alternate on Australia’s Davis Cup team. For 4 years, he trained with the likes of Lou Hoad, Ken Rosewall, and Rod Laver (all of whom won multiple grand slam titles), and traveled the tournament circuit with them. While on the road, he played Arthur Ashe, Pancho Gonsalez, and Roscoe Tanner, among others. He received a scholarship to play at Oregon and was their number 1 singles and doubles player all 4 years. David received his Doctorate in Motor Learning and went on to coach Men’s and Women’s Tennis at Marquette University, recording some of the best results in the school’s history. He also coached Newberry College where his teams won several SAC Conference Championships. Dr. Staniford has authored 3 critically acclaimed books:  “Natural Tennis for Children”; “Natural Tennis”; and “Natural Tennis, 2^nd Ed.” David and I have taught together for over 15 years and the knowledge and excitement he brings to clinics makes it special, indeed!

-For:  Men and Women 3.0-4.5 (High level adult beginners (2.5) and teenagers accepted as well)

 

-When/Where:
