Please note this important funding opportunity for community groups and organisations in Clane.

As part of the Kildare-Meath Grid upgrade project, EirGrid have created a Community Benefit Fund which will be available to support community projects along the upgrade route.

The route travels near Clane and a workshop is being held on November 25th to explain what funding will be available to the community and the types of projects that can be proposed.

The workshop will be held in Clane Project Centre’s Nexus office on the Prosperous Road (beside Allcare / Hughes Pharmacy) at 7pm on Tuesday November 25th 2025.
