Welcome to Week 2, for those of you who made it this far! (No worries if you are behind; it's easy to catch up.)

Thanks to those who responded with intros last week, I have organized you into 5 small groups largely based on timezone. Expect a separate email after this one with your small group. If you have not yet introduced yourself and you want to be in a small group, please respond on this list with your name, timezone, and profession/field by the end of today and I'll add you to an existing group.

Otherwise, very happy that you are taking this course independently!

This week:
  1. Schedule a virtual meeting with your small group. In your meeting, discuss the "For discussion in your small group" agenda items for Weeks 1 and 2.
  2. Share your WP username with me if you haven't already so I can invite you to contribute to http://cc4k12.wordpress.com/. If you already have a different blog, great. Just don't forget to post a link to your blog posts each week there is an assignment due at the discussion forum under each week.
  3. Complete Week 2 of the course!
  4. Optional: I have added some Tweeters to the CC4K12 Twitter list: https://twitter.com/cc4k12/course-participants. If you want to be part of it, just share your Twitter handle!
For those of you who have completed parts of the Get CC Savvy challenge already, I am going through to respond to any questions today. As always, feel free to ping me directly with any logistical questions.

For content oriented questions and/or discussion, I encourage you to use this Google Group so others can see your question and my response, as I'm sure many have the same questions!

Best,
Jane
