Hi everyone,

Welcome to Week 3 of the course! The last two weeks we were just getting started; thanks to everyone who completed the Get CC Savvy challenge (despite technical hiccups) and blogged about their experiences at http://cc4k12.wordpress.com/.

Here is your reminder for the week:

1) Please read each others posts (or post your response if you are running a little behind) and comment at http://cc4k12.wordpress.com/.

2) Join the Google+ hangout this Thursday at 3pm US pacific/UTC-7 (convert to your timezone here). My voice is back, so we're going to try this out!. You must have a Google+ account to be invited to this hangout. Share your Google email at the pad 10 min before the meetup to join: http://pad.p2pu.org/p/cc4k12. The hangout will be recorded and posted for those who can't make it. For the agenda, see Week 3 at the course website.

3) Read and complete your mission for Week 3 at the course website. Feel free to use the Disqus forum for this week to share your favorite K-12 resource sites with each other.

As always, let me know if you have any questions! I will be working through the Challenge comments and blog posts I haven't gotten to yet from last week's mission and responding before Thur.

Best,
Jane

Hi all,

Just a reminder that the Google hangout is happening today in roughly 2 hours at 3pm US PDT/6pm US EDT/UTC-7. If you plan to join, please share your google email with me here or at the pad (http://pad.p2pu.org/p/cc4k12) so I can invite you to the hangout. Since we are doing an "on air" hangout, it will be live and recorded for those who miss -- but this also means it is limited to 10 participants. So first come first serve! This shouldn't be a problem as the most people available at any time in the Doodle poll was 9, but if it is, we'll try a different tool next week.

Talk to you soon! Come with all your burning questions about CC licenses.

Jane
