Hi everyone,

Welcome to Week 6 of the course!

Last week:
  • You published your remix on an external content-sharing platform or on your own website/blog with correct attribution and license notice. For those of you who want to view last week's Blackboard Collaborate session sharing some of these remixes, the slides and recording are up at Week 5.
  • More of you posted your remixes over the weekend at http://cc4k12.wordpress.com/. Take a look at your peers' work and give feedback!

This week:

  • This week you should continue working on your final project - a resource explaining some aspect of Creative Commons, whether it's a video overview of how the licenses work, a handout for your students on how to find and attribute CC licensed photos correctly, or presentation on the origin and significance of Creative Commons. It's up to you what you create, but remember the goal is to demonstrate what you have learned in the course so far!
  • There is no virtual meetup this week, but there are office hours at the same time (Thursday, April 18 between 3:00-4:00pm US Pacific time/UTC-7 - convert to your timezone here). I will be answering questions via chat on this etherpad: http://pad.p2pu.org/p/cc4k12. If enough people join, I'm happy to answer questions via a Google hangout, too.
Good luck creating your CC resource! Refer to Week 5 for possible resources you can remix.

Best,
Jane

Hi all!

This is just a reminder that your final project is due this Sunday - a resource explaining some aspect of CC that you learned in the course. Next week is the last week of the course; I'll be sending a reminder next Monday with an end of course survey and info for the last meetup.

Please don't hesitate to ask me questions while creating your resource at Week 6, the blog, or by pinging me directly. Good luck!

Wishing you a relaxing, but productive weekend.

Best,
Jane
