Tucson Community for Change Schedule

Tucson Community for Change is an extension of the Barack Obama movement that swept the Nation over the last few years. We are going to do a great deal more than feeding the homeless, but isn't this a great place to start? Something to get us out of our comfort zone, doing something for someone who doesn't have food or shelter? Please attend the meeting next Sunday. RSVP today!!!

 Feeding the homeless hot plates at Hope of Glory Ministries.

Be there between 12pm and 1pm to start feeding from 1pm until 3pm. For details.

Time: 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Location: corner of 10th Ave. and 19th St.

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

 Feeding the homeless bags of lunches, pizza, burgers, fruit or whatever else you'd like to bring. Also bring your

winter clothing, that you don't wear anymore, blankets and toiletries.

Time: 12:00pm - 2:00pm

Location: Santa Rita Park on 22nd, just west of I-10.

Tucson Community for Change Meeting - Electing officers, announcing volunteer opportunities available, discussing

the "No-Drama-Obama-Art-Rama" and discussing other ideas any of YOU may have about opportunites we'll have to

make Tucson a better place to live

Time: 1:30pm - 2:30pm

Location: 2720 N. Swan Rd. in the clubhouse (At the SE corner of Glenn & Swan)

We'll have food, swimming and fun for yourself and your family, if any of you'd like to stay for my daughters

birthday party. She is turning 13.

Time: 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Location: same location as the meeting.

 

Community Food Bank Inaugural Ball update....

I spoke with Juan at the CFB this week and he stated that we brought in almost 2500 pounds of food...Isn't that incredible? 2500...

We also raised over $2,000 so we could pay our debts....

Thank you to everyone who helped make that event a HUGE success!

 

Please call me regarding any of the above events....and Please RSVP and come to the meeting next Sunday...I'm going to share my vision with the group. Share what we've done and the future of our group.

 

Barack Obama is the President. We must stay involved and work with him, side by side. Not necessarily politically, but at least socially...It's time for America to work together to get things done. Obama needs us!
