Hi team,

I’m trying to find a recipe for the smoothie so I can ask for the right quantities of ingredients from DC Central Kitchen.  Does this look alright to you guys?

http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,163,143185-244198,00.html

It’s a strawberry banana smoothie

4 large strawberries

½ cup milk

1 ripe banana

5 ice cubes

1.5 tsp sugar

It makes 32 ozs.

We said we wanted to make 50 cups worth, right?  That would be making this recipe 12.5 times.  Does that sound right to you guys?  Also, how are we going to keep the milk from spoiling and ice cubes from melting?

Thanks,

Jen

Thanks Kezia! Your help is much appreciated.

Rob, thanks for putting all of our thoughts into a cohesive piece :-)

Team-
Do you want to add a piece about the donations and where the funds are going? I know we also spoke about giving extra donations to DC Central Kitchen.

Hi everyone!

I had just a few comments.... The event at the school on May 18th is listed as ended.  We need to edit it to "Kelly Miller" not Keller.

Do we want to change the sponsorship donation descriptors from "Donate a...." To something like "Be a ... Sponsor" Or clarify it to "Parfait Level" because people may think we are handing these out.

What ever happened to the "shopping cart"/Zipcar?

I guess that's it from me....

Hi everyone,

The event for May 18th is incorrectly listed for May 11th, so I agree that needs to be corrected.  I like the idea of changing the sponsorship descriptions (e.g. “Be a sponsor at the Parfait level”).

The location of the May 29th event needs to be consistently listed as TBA Ward 7 school before we find out from Kelly Miller MS whether we have permission to staff the activity table.

Hi Team -

Happy Monday!

I'm making the changes to the page now.  Keller Middle School is listed with the May 18 event, versus the May 29 event.  For the May 29 event, its listed as a partnership with DC Central Kitchen.  Please advise how you want it listed.
