Here Are the Questions that Capital Cause Will Be Answering:
- How should we choose a cause work area to volunteer for?
- When identifying a cause area, what are key factors to look for?
- How can we make a cause work area unique if it is a common cause?
-
Do you or someone that you know, know of available resources that aid in assisting cause related work?

On May 18th City Year will host the Spring Fling Block Party at Kelly Miller Middle School in Ward 7. This event will assist CC Young Philanthropists with helping to eliminate a food desert for 500 residents. Young Philanthropists volunteering for this event will help educate students and residents
of Ward 7 on the benefits of eating fresh local produce and will help provide samples
of strawberry banana smoothies with ingredients sourced from local farms at two
events. With an estimated attendance of over 400 local residents, #Food_ASAP will have an opportunity to impact how people think about healthy food and encourage them to select fresher options. DONATE and/or RSVP to VOLUNTEER: http://ccfoodasap.eventbrite.com/ - For only $5 you can help a child start making healthy food decisions.
