I hope you all had a great weekend! We are now just 3 weeks away from our fundraising deadline! And even closer to Capital Cause's Young Philanthropists Industry Brunch where you will present your nonprofits with their checks!

For the past two weeks we've focused on ASK and FOLLOW-UP. This week, is about continuing to ASK and FOLLOW-UP, but adding another layer: SOMETHING NEW. With three weeks until our deadline, you're now past being halfway done and at this point, you need to reflect on your approach and try SOMETHING NEW if your strategy isn't working. Maybe hitting people up solely on Facebook and Twitter isn't getting the results you want. Maybe just sending a mass ask letter isn't getting the return you want either. This week, when you ASK and FOLLOW-UP, remember to try SOMETHING NEW if your current strategy isn't yielding great results.

Fundraising Tips!
- Personally Ask: Mass emails, status updates, etc. our good to spread general awareness. Nevertheless, using them without any personal follow-up is not the way to go. A personal ask goes a lot further and yields more consistent results.
- Twitter and Facebook: Use Twitter as a way to publicly thank donors. Always include the link in these messages.
- Teamwork: It is important that everyone on each team works together. This is a group fundraising goal.
Remember, that a teammate checking in on you is to support you for the
greater good. Division only makes trying to reach the goal more
difficult. Take the time out to commit to your fundraising goals this
next three weeks. At the end of the campaign, how much money do you
want to say you've raised? Use that as fuel to keep going. It will pay
off.

Have an amazing week!
