Anyone can now view changesets and source revisions in the trac
projects listed at this url:
This means you can share a url to a changeset with folks outside
of cc. It also mean that you or they can subscribe to rss feeds for
many of the collection views that trac supports.
For example to see a list of all the recent changesets checked in
to the CC 'projects' repository open this url in a browser:
At the bottom of the page you should see an orange XML icon with
a link to the RSS feed next to it:
Here's what the link looks like:
Drag or paste that link into your newsreader to subscribe to all
the changesets for the projects subversion repository.
Trac supports RSS feeds in these areas:
* TracTimeline -- Use the RSS feed to subscribe to project
events. Monitor overall project progress in your favorite RSS
reader.
* TracTickets, TracReports, and TracQuery -- Allows
syndication of report and ticket query results. Be notified about
important and relevant issue tickets.
[We aren't using these features of Trac at this time.]
* TracBrowser and TracRevisionLog -- Syndication of file
changes. Stay up to date with changes to a specific file or
directory.
Editing or creation of wiki pages, tickets, etc should be
disabled for all anonymous users. If you want to edit or create
anything you need to login by clicking the 'Login' link in the upper
right and use your standard CC authentication tokens. If you are on a
page accessed through the http:// protocol when you click "Login"
you will be re-directed to the same page via the https://
protocol.
