I wonder how others in the northeast handle the off season.  What do you do to get through the winter when your boat is hauled and stored on land.

Hibernate…save money .,,.think of boat projects to spend it on :)

But seriously chuck good question not only being a sailor but also a Dallas cowboy fan hibernation appears to be an attractive solution :) the Montreal Canadians are at least showing promise.

My “head” pun intended is full of ideas on how and when to start tackling my intended macerator pump to overboard discharge project. For some reason I am fearing this is going to turn into a larger project than I first envisioned.

As an fyi I would be open to a holiday teams or FaceTime group chat over the holidays to say hi

I have Last Call in heated  storage so when I am in town I can work on it where needed. The only significant project is installing a new GPS.      Most of the time I am in Fort Myers Florida during the winter and boating there.   Power boating that is.   Lots of lunch cruises.

Sailing plans for next summer are set though, should be fun.

I hope everyone has an awesome 2026 boating season.

Hey Blair, As a Habs fan I would like to point out that it's spelled Canadiens in this case. ;-)  WRT to my other winter activities while Corsair sits on the hard for a few months, I'm a ski bum in the winter and will be leaving Ontario shortly for British Columbia to ski the mountains there.  Back in April to uncover Corsair and get her back in the water for the summer.

Cheers,
Tom S

I watch the weather and feel for you guys.  While it's cold and snowy up there it's warm and windy here. We keep sailing / party with the crew. The guitarist is my foredeck guy....

Hey Francois, Great pics.  Music is a wonderful yearround and lifelong hobby.  My group The Grayhounds, meets tonight to practice, first time in months.  Hope you got some time on the sax.  Gotta get back to putting lights on the tree.

Chuck
