Hey Team,

I absolutely do not like the subject line, but it could just be me.  I understand what the point is but when I read it it slightly offended me. I could just be old school traditional lol.  I'll check out the rest of the newsletter or spelling, grammar, etc.

I only see a problem with formatting.  Below reasons #1 and #2 the green text is bold and not below reason #3.  I love that it's filled with pics and easily readable.

Agreed with the subject line. Haven't had a chance to look through thoroughly for grammar yet.

I actually like the countdown.........That is the way I have seen it in other types of flyers and the like.

I too agree about the subject line.

The grammar issue I see is on the 3rd point....it says One Senior Leaders.....take off the "S"

Good morning,

I am not sure I like the countdown part of it- starting at 3 and going to 1.  I think if it is the top three reasons it should start with the most important reason, especially if we are trying to motivate people to come.

I'm in between my classes but in terms of the subject line, if you want something provocative or eye catching, then yes it serves that purpose. I think it would be better to frame the event as an investment in networking, social good, philanthropy, even personal branding. I think the copy about "rubbing shoulders and swapping business cards" sounds a little dated. I think focusing more folks interested in building their careers, personal and professional networks, changing careers, committing to philanthropy, etc. Something along the lines of a social event with purpose with interesting people.

I've been the WORST at fun titles.  I think something like: Lunch with the White House: An Exclusive Invitation is definitely an eye catcher..............

I kind of like the tagline that DC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy of "Let's Change the Conversation". Maybe it can read "Let's Change the Conversation on June 29th" in order to focus on the changing the perception of a typical brunch, philanthropy, safe sex, teen pregnancy, etc. We can make it an unofficial theme or campaign...?

Ijeoma,

I love that idea, but would that suede the voters toward one nonprofit versus the other.......
