Everyone,

Before my eyes close for the night, I wanted to thank you all for everything today.  You each stepped up and helped us pull this off today, despite the challenges with the chef and seating.  Hopefully our guests left disappointed.

Thank you for your tireless dedication to the brunch.  I know you are excited about this break and are excited about getting your Wednesdays and Saturdays back.

Thank you all again!

You all rock!

Andrea

This is why you shouldn't type when you are tired.  I many to say, I hope NONE of our guests left disappointed.

Charge it to my head not my heart.

Thank you all again.

Good Morning Team -

I echo Andrea's sentiments!  Thank you very much for your hard work and dedication toward making the 3rd Annual Young Philanthropists Brunch a success! The time you invested to sell tickets, organize logistics, negotiate contracts, promote the event to networks and to show up the day before and day of to pull of this event off is greatly appreciated.  You are valued, and it is without hesitation that I say that none of this would have been possible without YOU!

Andrea/Jacqui - Thank you for co-leading this event! Your work helped bring the vision to reality!
Darla/Karla/Jamarr/Jalisa/Amber - Thank you for ensuring we adequately highlighted our Giving Circles Projects, and showcased how our YPs worked together to change 600 lives!
Abenaa - Thank you for supporting our co-leads, and managing our supply pick-up and coordination and running point on the day of the event.
Celeste/Alyson - Thank you for managing our Closer committee, your efforts helped yield 60 ticket sales
Philip - Thank you for leading our logistics and ensuring we had printed materials, and for looking fabulous in your bow tie
Brittany - Your PR efforts were extraordinary - from tweeting, to developing our program, to pulling together our PPT, to ensuring our PPT was up to date
Jarrai/Crystal/Abenaa/Ijeoma - Thank you for recruiting, informing and managing the industry leaders! Together the 19 that you all recruited helped make a difference in young people's careers
Jeff - Thank you for involving our members in supporting this event
Jalisa - Thank you for cohosting you did a great job!!

The above doesnt even begin to speak to the day-of efforts: table setting, equipment setup, vendor management, program development, PR focus, problem-solving event flow issues <-- all of which you all handled with professionalism and with a smile on your faces!

Together we did this as a team!!

Thank you for being a big reason why young philanthropy is possible in DC!

Annnndddd.....and happy 21st birthday for the 5th time, Alyson! :-)

Good Morning and Happy Monday!!!

I am feeling great this morning because we did it!!! The 2013 Industry Brunch was a great success and set the tone for the rest of my weekend- and my week!

Thank you Andrea, Jacqui and brunch team for making Saturday a great success!!!  I know you worked very hard to pull it off and you did!  The 230 guests were able to celebrate young philanthropy and know that their tickets not only went to a delicious brunch, but to impact the community.

Thank you Brittany for handling my multiple emails abt the GCP presentation 😁. And thanks Darla for helping me pull it together.

S/o to Jalisa for doing a great job co-hosting!!!

Thank you again for your hard work and I hope you are able relax an enjoy your holiday week!

Love this!

Following everyone's thank you and congratulatory emails over the past couple of days, I too must say thank you and congrats to you all for a successful brunch. And, especially, thank you for your efforts in helping with the PR strategy. As Kezia mentioned before, social media was one of our biggest ticket sellers this year and this is no doubt a result of you pushing the message out to your networks via Facebook, Twitter, and email. Thank you!

I would also like to shout out Alyson and Celeste for passing the PR strategy piece mail to the Closers, and continually keeping them engagement and excited about the brunch. With the Closers help, we significantly increased our reach on Facebook. Thank you.

Again, thank you to everyone! This was definitely a team effort.

I hope everyone had a nice relaxing Sunday, and plans for Wednesday night that don't include a conference call (plus the next day is a holiday!).

Enjoy your time off and have a great week!

Not sure how much more I can to add here (tough acts to follow), but obviously this event was a success because of a team that was willing to go above and beyond their individual roles to make this happen.  None of you were forced to do this, but the kind of selflessness that made you willing to put in the hours of planning and persevere all the challenges along the way is what makes this organization great and poised for even higher heights of success.

I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to work with you all and contribute as best I could.  Also glad that this event was great addition to my rockin weekend (offline discussion).  Looking forward to building and continuing to improve as we move forward.  Enjoy the rest of your week and the free time you're going to have now this the brunch is behind us.

Thanks again,
Jeff
