SUB: GIVING BACK TO MOTHER UGANDA @61 DONATE/PLANT A TREE 2023 CAMPAIGN:
Greetings from Greening Uganda. As celebrate 61 years of FREEDOM 9/10/1962 to 9/10/2023, by this mail, we’re inviting you to join/participate with us in Giving Back to Mother Uganda, the life time gift of planting trees. You can combine this activity with your 2023 Customer Care week, usually marked in the 1st week of October. Did you know?, you can plant UG @61 Independence Memorial Trees in your Compound, or donate plant trees in your home village former school or place of worship.
Our activity beneficiaries will include our target beneficiaries Schools, hospitals, churches, mosques, community public spaces, budongo & bugoma degraded spaces, and we target to plant 1 million trees by 31st October 2023. This comes as a response to Climate Change to address the increasing heat waves, trees will be able to provide the most needed shade for the communities identified above.
HOW YOU CAN HELP/PARTICIPATE:
We invite all stakeholders, companies, enterprises, banks, rotary clubs, lions clubs to DONATE TREE SEEDLINGS. BUDONGO FOREST RESTORATION:

This commences on 1st October 2023 & ends on 31st October 2023. As a company you can Donate & plant trees with us in Schools, Hospitals, Public community places, places of worship or forest restoration. As an individual, you can choose to donate trees to your former village school, church, mosque, or even plant trees around your home.
Between 3rd & 5th November 2023, we will move as a team to plant trees in Bugoma & Budongo Forests, restoring degraded forest areas, combined, we plan to plant 100,000Ugx, to register, kindly visit https://greeninguganda.org/Projects/Bugoma_Forest_Tree_Planting Cost per person is 365,000Ugx, this includes return transport, full board accomodaton, forest chimpanzee tour & Kabwoya wildlife reserve, and a visit to oil wells.
