Hey everyone, I offered to Guy to do a talk in January, I am calling the talk "The DOM is the framework" (a phrase I heard from one of Matthew McNulty's talk I think) on Polymer and WebComponents.

I wanted to just reach out to the community; provide some resources and see if anyone is using Polymer and/or Web Components here locally.  I haven't been using Polymer on any projects as of yet.  But, I am attracted to the push that Google has been doing towards "Material Design" and Polymer this year.  (Full disclosure, I co-organize the Google Dev Group here in town--smile) <plug> The GDG is meet on the 18th at Pillar's Forge and likely to talk about Android if you're interested</plug>

If anyone has experience with WebComponnets, X-Tags, Polymer, or deep experience with the DOM/HTML5 (i.e MutationObserver, File API, Audio API, etc) reach out to me--and let's do a Google Hangout and talk about it.

Best!
