Sujet : Invitation to the closing meeting of the EU project INPLANTOMICS

Dear Professor Slim Tounsi,

We are pleased to invite you to the Closing Meeting of INPLANTOMICS, a Horizon Europe Widening project dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge in plant omics technologies at the University of Sfax.

This event provides an opportunity to highlight the project’s strong integration of omics technologies and socio‑scientific dimensions, with particular relevance to Mediterranean and African agricultural systems. It will bring together project partners, policymakers, national and European stakeholders, and early‑career researchers to reflect on key achievements, share scientific advances, and discuss future perspectives for Widening participation in Europe and beyond. Through this closing meeting, INPLANTOMICS reaffirms its commitment to reducing research and innovation disparities, empowering early‑career scientists, and building sustainable international research networks.

The morning session will focus on the project’s scientific outcomes, capacity‑building milestones, and long‑term impact, while the afternoon session will be dedicated to Scientific Excellence and Interdisciplinary Research, showcasing cutting‑edge research from the INPLANTOMICS network fostered by the project.

This closing meeting will take place on 15 May 2026 at the Hotel Radisson in Sfax, and more information is available in the attached program.

The whole event will be in a hybrid mode and here is the zoom link to join us:
