A couple of interesting analyses on the Hulu auction.
One from ever the contrarian
Rich Greenfield "who thinks either Fox and ABC should consider buying out one or the other and buying the third part owned by Comcast, which in return for government permission to buy NBC Universal basically agreed not to have much to do with Hulu. But Greenfield also thinks that won’t happen."
And the other from our own savvy media man,
Brian Weiser who "concludes the question won’t be how low the price will go for Hulu but how high it might reach. The Pivotal report doesn’t seem to favor one suitor over another, but in my reading at least, Yahoo, which has bid a low $600 million (reportedly) would be a mighty fine fit as CEO Marissa Mayer tries to reinvent that brand."
Scratch (a collaborative, diverse, cross-functional team that channels the reach, connection and creative force of Viacom and its brands in new ways to drive revenue and culture) is seeking a Director, Project Leadership.
The position focuses on (i) leading cross-disciplinary working teams dedicated to developing project deliverables, (ii) leading and cultivating client relationships through development and execution of projects, including presentation of interim and final deliverables, and (iii) overseeing project timelines, budgets, materials production, event planning, etc.
