Head of Online Marketing role related to independent film industry
New York, NY
A friend of Martin's is recruiting for this role. Looks pretty interesting for somebody with good online marketing experience and interest in the entertainment industry. Let Martin know if you are or somebody you know is interested and he'll put you in touch with her.
Memo:
"I'm helping a friend recruit for a "head of online marketing" role related to the independent film industry and located in NYC. I know it's an off-chance, but thought I'd also send this along since you went to NYU and may know someone who'd fit the profile (or perhaps your nyc area friends might know someone)..
It'd be an AMAZING role for the right person. My guess...good for someone who is highly analytical, maybe 5 - 10 yrs work experience, with great hands-on experience/success in all types of online marketing - paid & natural search, email, affiliates, etc. (maybe was an online media planner at one point at an agency...or is there now). knows the basics of acquisition, retention, testing/learning, etc. - very metrics driven.
The search is "blind" (can't give company name), but trust me...great firm and the person would be forging new ground in online marketing.
If you know of anyone who might be interested and is a good fit - feel free to pass this job description along and have them contact me."
