Job Description:

Must Have:

• Need to have solid foundations in Kubernetes Deployment Model. 
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.- Proficiency in deploying, scaling, and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Scaling: Scaling applications up and down to meet changing needs
• Monitoring: Ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of clusters
• Security: Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with security standards
• Configuring hardware, services, managing settings and storage
• Kubernetes workload management & optimization
• Knowledge on Kubernetes Architecture (controllers/operator/storage class/persistent volume/configMaps/Secrets)
• Experience with persistent storage management system and storage orchestrator for containerized stateful workloads (Such as portworx and storx)
• Kubernetes Operator & Custom Resource Definition
• Helm chart and deployments
• K8 CSI driver
• Integration with Vault Management system (HashiCorp is a plus)
• Troubleshooting: Resolving issues related to clusters, such as networking, storage, and resource utilization
• Stateful set Administration in K8 Cluster (Apache Cassandra stateful set management in K8/RKE is a plus)
• Ability to script or code in languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience on Infrastructure as a code using Ansible/Terraform
• Experience on Rancher K8 Platform is a plus
• CI/CD automation and GIT (GitLab CI/CD is a plus)
• Experience on managing and administration of servers (Unix/Linux)

 

Plus/Nice to Have:

• Need to have solid foundations in Apigee Hybrid & X Deployment model. 

• • Installation & Set Up experience.
  • Apigee Hybrid/X Architecture
  • Management of Apigee runtime, backup/restore
  • Cassandra database management (Apache, shipped along with Apigee Hybrid)
  • Multi-region set up of Apigee Hybrid
  • Portals/Integrated/custom developer portal setup and configuration is a plus
