About Mark Payne
Payne has spearheaded innovation efforts that have created over $3 billion in revenue for its clients across a wide array of industries and companies, including Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Samsung, The Coca-Cola Company, Toyota, Starwood Hotels, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Campbell’s Soup, Citibank, Starbucks, Hershey’s and General Mills. An architect of the firm’s unique ‘Money & Magic’ philosophy, which marries commercial strategy with consumer-centric creativity, he is both a front line innovation practitioner and an industry thought leader.

Payne’s pursuit of a better way to invent has uncovered potent new insights into how ideas interact with the human mind – both on the street and in the boardroom. His perspectives on innovation’s past, present, and future have appeared in leading publications, including Fast Company, Fortune, The Huffington Post, BusinessWeek, and Crain’s. Payne is also a frequent speaker at forums like Columbia Business School, The Wharton School of Business, the 2013 Chief Innovation Officers’ Summit, the International Food Technology’s Wellness Conference, New York University’s ‘Investigation’ Scholar-in-Residence Series, HEC Paris, Johns Hopkins University, and innovation leadership conferences at many top tier companies.

About the Book
Based on behind-the-scenes stories and lessons from Fahrenheit 212’s first decade, shaping breakthrough innovations for many of the world’s great companies, How to Kill a Unicorn lays out a new playbook for creating innovations that make it out into the world, replacing old myths and misconceptions with a new philosophy and practices that transform innovation success rates.

It’s really not about killing things at all–it’s about ensuring your vision comes to life. And fear not. No unicorns were harmed in the making of this book. Unicorns aren’t real.

Seating is limited for this event and RSVPs will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis.

Kindly confirm your participation by October 17, 2014.
