Dear cBioPortal Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am currently using cBioPortal’s Oncoprint to investigate mutation rates in invasive lobular carcinoma. However, I have encountered a point that I do not fully understand.

When I calculate the mutation rate by dividing the number of mutations by the number of samples examined, the percentage figures displayed next to the genes in Oncoprint appear to be slightly different. Could you kindly clarify how these percentage figures are calculated?

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

Hello Shiro,

Is this using the public cBioPortal? Are you able to send the url to your query to investigate further?

Best,
Priti
