SAML metadata not found on new version 6.4.x

Hi, I'm updating our local cbioportal. However the update breaks our SAML SSO. I need to provide the SAML SP metadata but I can't get it. In the past (versions 5x and below)I would get it by going to https://<OUR_SITE_NAME>/cbioportal/saml/metadata . Now on cbioportal version 6, I don't get anything. I get a 404 instead. I can't even get anything locally either. How do i get the saml sp metadata xml in cbioportal v6.x+?

Is Keycloak used as the identity provider for logging in in the installation? Let me know which version of keycloak  is used.
