Hello everyone,

I am currently working on expression analysis using cBioPortal for my master's dissertation and have completed about half of the work. I'm wondering whether it's possible to publish a paper based solely on analysis conducted in cBioPortal, or if additional analyses would be expected.

I would greatly appreciate any expert advice on this matter. Thank you in advance!

Hi,

cBioPortal is a very rich resource with a lot of data. It should be possible to discover new findings by using cBioPortal, so publishing a paper based on only results is definitely possible. I guess that all depends on what you discover.

I hope this helps.
Niki.
