Hi,
I recently submitted a manuscript for publication in which I used cBioportal and successfully analysed PDAC data from the TCGA Firehose Legacy study. The manuscript has been accepted pending some minor details.  The journal is asking for the accession details or cohort identifier.
I can see that the data was curated from GDC, and there are sample ID and Patient ID details (clinical identifiers). But how do I get the accession details?
Could someone let me know ASAP?
Thanks
Balaji

Hi Balaji,

Within cBioPortal, cohorts or studies can be uniquely identified by the study ID, which you can obtain from the URL. For example, the ID for Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma (TCGA, Firehose Legacy) is `paad_tcga`: https://www.cbioportal.org/study/summary?id=paad_tcga
The underlying data for studies is available in this GitHub repository, under the same study ID: https://github.com/cBioPortal/datahub/tree/master/public/paad_tcga

Let me know if this is enough information, or if they have given you more specific requirements.

Best,
Guizela
