cBioportal Local Instance

Hi,

I have few questions regarding local instance data uploading

I have downloaded few public studies from cbioportal.org and uploaded to my local instance. But only studies with groups=PUBLIC are visible. How can I make other studies visible too?.

How can I disable download button in my query and study view pages?

It would be grateful if you can answer for above my queries since I am very new with cBioportal.

Could you clarify if you intend to use an authentication method and which one you are trying to use? Is it keycloak? There are several questions around this on the user group which might help to address any issues you might experience. See e.g.:

The groups are used to manage authorization per group for a collection of studies. Make sure to add the user you are logging in as to the group you want to display the studies of through e.g. keycloak.

There is currently no way to do this, but there is an open Pull Request to implement this. CC’ing Pim who might have a better idea about the status:
