Questions about METABRIC dataset

Dear cBioPortal team,

Hope this email finds you well! I am using the METABRIC breast cancer dataset(METABRIC, Nature 2012 & Nat Commun 2016) and carrying out some differential expression analysis. I am wondering if the patients' race/ethnicity information is available for the clinical dataset(I am wondering if the data were pre-cleaned so demographic data like race were excluded). If yes, could you please let me know where I can find or download the data? Thank you for your help in advance!

Hi Harry,

We generally include all available clinical/demographic data, so if race/ethnicity are not part of the METABRIC study in cBioPortal, I suspect that is because the data was not provided as part of the METABRIC manuscripts. Are you aware of this data existing? if so, please do let us know and we can try to update our data accordingly.
